How to Trade in Your Current Car
Once you have determined that you wish to trade in your pre-owned vehicle to us while purchasing a new or pre-owned BMW car, you can head over to our True Market Value tool and enter your make and model to get an approximate idea of how much it is worth.
Of course, the details of your specific vehicle may differ, so our appraisers at our dealership will also want to take a good look at it, which usually doesn’t take more than 30 minutes.
At this point, our appraiser will likely also ask you if the car has been in an accident, how many previous owners it has had, and how many miles are on the tires. After taking your car for a test drive, they will assign it a value and present it to you.
If you choose to purchase a car from us, the value of your trade-in will be subtracted from the total purchase price, saving you money and hassle of having to trade in your car separately.
