The Geneva Motor Show starts March 9 in Geneva. This year, we have an early peek at what BMW AG will have on display. That, in turn, is a preview of what will be available soon to the Columbia, MD drivers served by BMW of Silver Spring.

BMW 4 Series

There will be three versions of the new BMW 4 Series: coupe, convertible, and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. The suspension on each is stiffer than before. What's more, the chassis and exterior have both been reworked. The exterior redesign includes new LED headlights and tail lights, a new apron, and new intakes. The interior gets a matching makeover with high-gloss accents, and the iDrive infotainment system also receives an upgrade.

BMW 5 Series Touring

There's a new chassis for the BMW 5 Series Touring, which is now larger yet lighter than before. The new chassis is proportioned in such a way that the car still looks just the right size. The acoustic damping is improved, there's more rear seat space, and more cargo volume. Add Comfort Access to the standard automatic liftgate and you'll have hands-free access to the cargo compartment. With four engine choices, RWD and xDrive AWD, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the new BMW 5 Series Touring is compelling.

BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition

The BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition paints with bold black strokes, proving that sustainable transportation need not be dull. The vehicle, with its custom Protonic Frozen Black finish and matching interior accents, makes its worldwide debut in Geneva, with a BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition due later in the year.

The 2017 BMW models already on offer to the Columbia, MD customers served by BMW of Silver Spring have a lot to offer, but we're excited to be able to add even more depth to an already great lineup. Find out more by visiting our showroom at 3211 Automobile Blvd in Silver Spring, MD today.
