Here at BMW of Silver Spring, we love reading stories of classic models and the people who drive them. But, did you know there is a very rare, classic BMW boat? We didn't either until we saw this amazing story.
Turns out, back in the 1950s, when the BMW 507 was in its heyday, a boat version of model was made. As the years went by, the boat was lost, and people just thought it was urban legend, but Felipe Garcia was determined to find it, and he did.
The boat, which had a BMW 507 engine and parts in it, needed a restoration, and Garcia made it happen. With the final result, BMW came along to film it in action, for all of us to enjoy. Check out the video and see for yourself.
